Spokane Area Council Presidents Message April 2010 Well it is that time again and I have nothing written on the paper and what's worse not much to say.   It will be short for sure this time. As I write this I am sure that the Council Officers have been elected and I congratulate all of the elected officers.  If we all will remain positive in our endeavor we will have a great new year for Spokane Area Council. We have lost many of our older dancers of who have contributed so much to our activity and to them and their families we say thank you for the dedicated service to our activity. Remember the club dances are for all dancers and the host club should be the gracious host and be on the dance floor most of the dance with their guests, sitting in the dinning area and visiting while your guest dance is not a very good way to host a dance.  So let’s all do our part and dance up a storm. Spokane Area Council Presidents Message  March 2010 Well it is that time again and I have nothing written on the paper and what's worse not much to say.   It will be short for sure this time.   Remember February 12 2nd Friday dance.  Remember this is Footnotes dance and will be called by all Callers and Cuer's so come on out to the Western Dance Center at 8 PM and support the Footnotes dance here you will be able to subscribe to the State Square Dance Magazine (Footnotes) and get to have an evening of Square Dance fun.   Don't forget the Spokane Area Council meeting March 14 at 3 PM at the Western Dance Center.  Election of officers will happen at this meeting.   We had a great 5th Saturday dance on January 30 with Ed Holyoke and Nina Leisi what a great crowd and everyone was smiling and dancing up a storm.  So remember these are your 5th Saturday dances so why not come on out and join in the fun.   Molly and I hope to see you on the dance floor real soon.
